Our Process — Tamara Safadi Design

A considered design process from initial brief through concept, development, and installation for every project.

Design Process

  1. 01. Brief

We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your vision, lifestyle, and aspirations. This stage is about listening — uncovering how you live, what you love, and what you want your space to feel like.

  2. 02. Planning

Site visits, measured surveys, and spatial analysis inform a comprehensive project plan. We establish scope, timeline, and budget parameters to ensure every decision is grounded in reality.

  3. 03. Concept

From the brief, we develop a design concept — the guiding language of form, material, and atmosphere that will define your space. Mood boards, references, and initial sketches bring the vision to life.

  4. 04. Development

The concept evolves into detailed design proposals. We refine layouts, elevations, and material palettes, presenting options that balance beauty with buildability.

  5. 05. Documentation

Comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and schedules are produced for every element of the design — providing contractors and suppliers with everything they need to execute with precision.

  6. 06. Selection

We curate materials, finishes, furniture, and bespoke pieces from our global network of artisans and suppliers, ensuring every element meets our standard for quality and originality.

  7. 07. Management

We coordinate and oversee all trades and contractors throughout the build, conducting regular site visits to ensure works are executed to specification and on schedule.

  8. 08. Procurement

All specified items are ordered, tracked, and managed — from bespoke cabinetry to imported stone. We handle logistics so nothing falls through the cracks.

  9. 09. Installation

The final stage: furniture placement, art hanging, accessory styling, and a comprehensive snagging process. We don't leave until the space is exactly as envisioned.
